New clients are introduced by Colin Richardson, our Customer Services Manager. Whether
you are placing one off projects or regular contractual work, regardless of whether
your requirements are complicated or simple we need to make sure that our internal
colleagues are meeting your expectations.
Having served his apprenticeship at Hobbs, and with a career path that includes
managing production departments, nobody is better placed to ensure your first impression
of Hobbs is a positive one.
Colin is supported by an experienced team of Account Managers who manage the production
of a wide range of publications. Our extensive and ongoing approach to personal
development ensures they are listening and learning about customer requirements
today and in the future in order that they can influence the ongoing development
of Hobbs to meet those needs.

Recognised skills and learning throughout the business
The desire to be the best service provider in our market sector has spurred on even
more of our customer service, management and production teams to take the challenge
of the externally assessed NVQ qualifications.
We believe the NVQ assessment of skills and performance in the workplace is a highly
relevant means of developing and improving the service that we provide. To this
end, we encourage and support all staff to achieve more through this process of
continual learning and assessment; which has resulted in nearly forty staff attaining
NVQ qualifications from level 2 to level 5 in recent years, with a further 18 courses
currently in progress.
